Double Heart Audio Repair

JP repairing a Memorymoog synthesizer

JP Bohon has over 20 years of experience in pro audio repair. He's had the pleasure of building products and repairing gear for studios, producers and musicians around the world.

Repair rates

$100/hour
$0.70/mile for location repair/consultations/pickup/delivery service—The IRS mileage rate as a standard.
JP is willing to negotiate work in trade for working OR parts machines.

Lead times

Standard lead time is 3 months from the date the item is accepted.

JP takes gear on a first-come-first-serve basis, and won't accept a piece of gear if he won't be actively working on it. We'll intake requests anytime, and put your name on a list. Then, we'll set up an appointment with you when it's time to start repair.

No rush jobs

Quality depends on giving your gear the time it needs without compromise.

Specialization in high-end, high quality vintage analog synths and pro audio

JP focuses on gear that tends to be pre-1985 and valued at $1,000 USD and above in 2025 dollars. This is not out of exclusivity, but out of fairness. If it costs more to fix something than it’s worth, it’s not a good value for the client—or a sustainable use of time.
